Basic Food Hygiene Training / Food Safety for Food Handlers

The current Hygiene of Foodstuffs Regulations requires all food handlers to be trained and/or supervised commensurate with their work activity. It is essential that all personnel involved in the handling, preparation, cooking, distribution and storage of food is aware of the principles of food hygiene and can apply these principles to their daily tasks.

Food Safety Consultants offers a training course in Basic Food Hygiene designed to provide food handlers whether working in manufacturing, catering or retail operations with all of the knowledge they require to ensure the food they handle is safe.

The course duration is three hours approximately followed by an exam. The course is also designed to cater for non English speaking delegates. The use of technology enabled learning is also used during the training course to help delegates understand and re-enforce learning. All of our courses are practical.
